Cars

OBD stuff

A while back I picked up a very inexpensive OBD scanner off of amazon. It has sat in my random junk drawer for a while. I think I'm going to leave it connected to Kitty permanently. Torque has been fun to tinker with. Its already fed me some good information too. The engine and transmission temperatures appear to be nominal. Quite pleased with the peace of mind that a $9 bluetooth OBD scanner can give. I've got a short OBD cable that I may use to relocate the dongle so it's further out of the way, but so far it hasn't been a real issue. The port is off to the side and doesn't become an obstacle when getting in and out of the car. Winter boots may change that notion though.
